A KATO HORIO prendre à gauche direction Thripti. Ne pas suivre la route jusqu'à Thripti mais chercher à l'altitude de 800m une piste a gauche qui arrive a un petit oratoire. Parking

La partie haute est à sec avec qq vasques putrides. Après la confluence avec mastoras, il y a un petit filet d'eau. Très bel encaissement qu'on aimerait faire avec un débit correct.

Observations: my 80m rope was more than enough Canyon fed upstream. Intermediate dry. Still the pool with the dead goat, really disgusting. Overall, in the intermediate section, the other pools are also disgusting but tolerable. Ultra continuous section. Impressive depth. Then the water gradually reappears. Fun pools (jumps, slides, and almost clean water). A MAJOR canyon. Comments on the approach and return: My alternative without a shuttle: no crossing of fences and prickly bushes. Also faster. For access: park here 35.08531037443239, 25.828760835337206 (Google Maps) For the approach. Follow the mountain via the road (left bank). At the first fork, turn left and you will quickly reach the trail (marked EA). Pass a first concrete building and you will have a view of both sides of the island (sea). Further on, on the left, climb up a scree slope that is clearly visible on Google Maps (35.07724222104073, 25.825505377997438), which will take you to the path in 15 minutes. From there, climb up to the chapel and then quickly take the trail that descends. You will cross the stream in less than five minutes.
