Black Dahlia Canyon

Black Dahlia Canyon is a short but pleasant canyon next to The Big Pink. I say this canyon is slightly less interesting than Red Velvet but still worth a stop. If you are looking for an extra canyon after Blue and Red Velvet, The Black Dahlia is a great choice.

standard approach when going for the velvets but continue south and hike up one last hill to the top of the canyon. kml file represents adding the Black Dahlia descent to the Weeping Springs and Bighorn Canyons Loop and upclimbing the non-technical Black Cat Canyon to the south for the approach

This is a short canyon with 3 rappels up to 60 ft. The last rap is down climbable to the river. You will have a few areas to inflate rafts and float to your next desired location.
