Información
Beautiful semi-technical canyon, very popular among hikers from the rim and from the river. Lets all do our part to keep Boy Scout quiet and clean! Don't let this treasure become a trash/feces heap like Goldstrike and Arizona Hot Spring. Follow all 7 Leave No Trace principles, and consider leaving no digital trace as well.
Descenso
15' fixed rope followed immediately by 340' rappel. Rappel is on wall for majority of drop, except for the last 100' or so. There are three chain anchors placed along the drop which could be used as rebelays or belay stations for a multipitch rappel. The first is at 94', the second at 183' and the third at 278'. All would be hanging belay stations as there are little to no ledges at their locations. The first set of chain anchors is in a little alcove about 2 ft to the left of the natural rappel line. Real easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. The last belay station is just below the start of the free hanging rappel and just out of arm's reach, so you would need to swing in a little to reach it. The last 15' of drop can be downclimbed if the rope comes up short. Several fixed ropes to hot springs. One fixed rope to river.
