R1: about 30 feet, using a cairn anchor R2: immediately after R1. 55 feet with a 20 foot free hang, anchored off a boulder. 2 downclimbs that can be optional nuisance rappels R3: 115 feet from a large 4 foot diameter boulder R4: 125 feet down a vertical wall. Anchored from a cairn anchor. Several downclimbs into a narrow section R5: 65 feet, using a chockstone about 15 feet from the top of the rappel. R6: The drop is 10 feet but the nearest anchor is a large boulder about 50 feet up canyon. R7: 90 feet anchored from any boulder in the boulder debris field. Most of the drop is a free hang. There is a ledge about 20 feet from the bottom of the wall. Make sure to stay on rope and keep descending. R8: create your anchor using a pinch point between a two medium sized rocks in the wash just above the drop. There is an awkward start over a ledge and then a free hang. Be careful of a boulder embedded in the wall on the way down. R9: 50 feet from a cairn anchor. Be mindful of rockfall on the loose wall. From here, the canyon opens up into a wider wash with some downclimbs and branches joining the wash. About 270 feet from rap 9 is a short drop that is easily bypassed by climbing around LDC. You will walk for a while before coming to the next rappel. R10: 175 feet from a cairn anchor. The wall is very loose and the belayer should stand well back to avoid rockfall. Numerous downclinbs or nuisance rappels follow. R11: 35 feet from a cairn anchor. You can see down canyon and can see the next rappel from the bottom. R12: 200 feet with a great view. A 200 foot rope will get you down to a ledge (there is another ledge about halfway down), from which is should be easy to walk down to the ground. The team can use a slightly longer rope to be more cautious.
