Carrizo Gorge

This is an in a amazing 22mi one way bike ride through the desert following an abandoned railroad track. You will experience amazing scenery, cross 100ft high wooden trestles, traverse mile long tunnels and negotiate cactus gardens and rattlesnakes along the way. This is an epic trip, the location is very remote with no cell phone coverage or exits along the way. It is very common to puncture a tire or fall off the bike and smash a hand, knee or head. Make sure you have a medikit and are prepared to spend the night out. If you have a Spot or Inreach device, you should bring it.
