Cattail Canyon (East Fork)

A branch of Cattail Canyon that skips the first batch of rappels including the tallest one but has a 350 footer of its own.

Park at the Chisos Basin. Hike to Laguna West campsite and drop in at 29.248781°, -103.319528°.

R1: 350' off of two bolts is located at the coordinates shown on the map (banner photo). Following this rappel, you shortly intersect the main Cattail Canyon drainage a quarter mile downstream from the 200' pour-off after Bryan's Falls. The remaining three rappels are Class B with some short swims mixed in and then two large waterfalls right at the end.
