Cómo llegar

Drive East on Route 38 past Redlands and Mentone. After the road takes a hairpin turn and the grade steepens, park at the third pullout on the left. This is parking for Frustration Creek (sport climbing venue). Hike up the Frustration drainage ~0.5 miles, using fixed roped where applicable. Cut up and right towards the ridgeline, pulling on choss and avoiding unstable slopes. Charred vegetation will signal your summit. Then find a path down the other side....

Descenso

Mountain mahogany clumps offer drops into the canyon proper (~60', ~80). Scramble down talus and discover a slowly growing water flow, culminating at an open area of clean washed granite 50' wide. Natural anchors DCR yield 80' drop back into streambed. Twin charred sycamore set back from the next edge anchors for a 50' drop in the braided watercourse. Final ~50' nuisance drop off of trees delivers you to the "chain mail" debris barrier that is crawled under to exit onto Route 38.
