Información
This is a little Coconino sandstone slot that can be used to access Rattlesnake Canyon, Kirk's Hollow, or Whispering Falls from the rim. Bad part is the technical section is short, and there's some moderate bushwhacking involved. The good part is that the elevation gain is free, it has fun downclimbs and a nice final rappel, and it provides a good line of access to the mentioned canyons from Sowats Point.
Cómo llegar
From Sowats Point, head back up the road to the east a quarter mile, the cross the drainage to the south, and head south for another mile into the next drainage. Use a GPS.
Descenso
There's a drop of ~30ft in the Kaibab limestone that can be bypassed by climbing the little hill to your left and traversing downstream. It's open and brushy after that, but eventually closes in to a shallow, twisting slot which ends in a short rappel. The next bit is a little bushwhacky. There's a nicer slot downstream with a few more downclimbs, and a 100ft free hanging rappel at the end.
