Lace Canyon

Lace was called out on the image map posted in the Ribbon Canyon beta. Lace is a non-technical, not very narrow canyon with one 85' optional rappel.

Leave a return shuttle vehicle at the Andy's Loop TH (39.02096, -108.60953) or at the Devil's Kitchen TH if including Echo Canyon. Start the canyon from the Upper Ribbon Parking Lot (38.99470, -108.64271) and hike down The Ribbon mountain biking trail picking a path to catch the optional 85' rappel or avoid it.

A tributary into Lace Canyon offers an optional rappel: R0: 85' from a tree DCR. There is a ledge to help negotiate the sharp lip at the start of the rappel. Battle some brush downstream of R0 before the canyon opens up in Lace. Upclimb Lace on the slickrock to see all the sandstone features in this drainage.
