Malibu Creek Loop

The Malibu Creek Loop is a short trip around a rocky section of Malibu Creek ending at a popular swimming hole with cliff jumping when conditions allow. Canyoneers will pass a number of sport climbing routes near the end of this loop.

Do not park in the park itself; this requires money and only saves a short length of hiking. The primary approach is longer distance but small elevation gain. There is also an alternate approach with less distance and more elevation gain.

After climbing down the Century dam, there is no trail for an extended period of time. This often requires wading and swimming in the stream to proceed.
