Mission Canyon

Mission Canyon contains two main attractions: 7 Falls just up stream of the Jesusita Trail, and 3 Pools farther up stream. Both of these attractions can be accessed without technical gear, but none of the authors of this page have descended the canyon and do not have direct knowledge of the nature of the trails.

Park at the top of Tunnel Road and start hiking toward the Tunnel Trail. Stay left as you pass the Tunnel Trail and continue briefly on the Jesusita Trail until you cross Mission Canyon for the second time. Turn off the Jesusita Trail toward Arlington Peak and follow small use trails that parallel the water course until you reach 3 Pools.
