Oso Baño

A short mini canyon in Loy. A potentially spicy approach followed by a couple short, fun, overhanging rappels drop you back into the main canyon.

Follow Loy Canyon Trail until the gully before the route. Pick your poison scrambling up the 4th class sections of the Mesa the canyon drains off of.

3-4 rappels >100 feet. The first two have overhanging starts reminiscent of hang ‘em high.

Follow the drainage back to Loy canyon trail. Watch out not to step in the many, many, piles of bear dookie along the way.
