A rugged Fossil Springs Wilderness canyon. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2858051964215225&type=3 Passenger vehicles can start at dirt road off of highway 260 between corral and Salmon Lake. High clearance vehicles can proceed on dirt road past gate. Road is in fairly good condition with a few rocky sections. Follow road to High Clearance parking spot.
Cómo llegar
Hike fairly low brush country past fence and down towards canyon drainage south of Petes Tank. Follow drainage over boulders and through some brush to first rappel.
Descenso
First rappel starts off at a beautiful section of deep and curvy canyon walls. R1: 75' off of tree up and RDC. Rappel continues down a few tiers. Go right down canyon to next rappel. R2: 35' off of tree RDC. R3: 30' off of tree RDC to avoid pool or off of large boulder to go directly down canyon into pool. Pool is not more than knee deep. R4: 25' off of rock pinch RDC. Continue through boulders with some down climbs. R5: 25' off of tree/boulder or downclimb RDC. Continue through boulders with some down climbs to confluence with Sandrock Canyon.
