Port of Entry Canyon

This route is an adventure hike. The route tours the area. The Kanab Dinosaur Tracks is a worth while viewing. The route ascends to the mesa and then descends to an advance overhang first rappel. Please protect the cryptobiotic soil

This route climbs through cliff bands up to the dinosaur tracks. There is also a trail from the Port of Entry parking that would be an easier route to the dinosaur tracks. After the Dinosaur tracks ascend towards the mesa top. Navigate through the cliff bands. There is a jeep trail at the top. Descend down to R1.

It is recommended to ghost all the drops to avoid leaving webbing or creating rope grooves on pull. The rock here is very soft. Continue bouldering down the watercourse until you reach a trail.
