Quandary Canyon

A rare opportunity to see what real keeper potholes are. There are about a dozen potholes in the pothole section, and usually two in keeper mode. Get your potshots out for this! One exit option is left at Muddy Creek and up Ramp Canyon, which in addition to being shorter also avoids the necessity of a shuttle. Camping at the top of Ramp Canyon is available. Perhaps the quickest way to do the pothole section is to park at the Factory Butte side (the SE side of the swell), hike up Muddy Creek to access the end of the slot, and then hike up the Bypass Route in order to drop into the slot. Then you can run the pothole section, which is the best and hardest part of the canyon, and return the way you came. This could be done in seven hours reasonably.
