Runaway Bride

This fun little rappel is adjacent to Springdell Cascade/Bridesmaid Falls. A short jaunt to the north will get you here, and is well worth the exploration if you're in the area. Note: The upper section of this drainage is Posted: "No Trespassing."

Park at the Bridal Veil/Nunns Park area and hike along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail to the south. Zig zag your way up to Springdell Cascade, and then contour back to the north to get above the dryfall. You will come to the posted "no trespassing" sign at the base of the waterfall (where it dives undergrounds at the irrigation grate." Continue downcanyon to the end.

At the dryfall, a tree back from the drop (LDC) is slung with webbing. 80' to the ground with a fun little free hang. Rig, rappel, and enjoy. Great views with no crowds.
