Sativa Sunrise Gulch

A short route in Big Tujunga Canyon, located about 1/2 mile further up the fireroad from the Fall Creek drop-in.

The approach for this route is the same as Fall Creek: Fall Creek Continue up the fireroad past the Fall Creek drop-in, for approximately .4 miles, until the next obvious drainage. The drop-in is located at 34.307209 -118.169197

Down-climb the obvious drainage from the fire-road, about 10' to a ledge. R1-50', anchored off a bush canyon right. R2-70', anchored from a dead burned-out tree canyon right. The tree is set back from the edge about 25', making the actual vertical rappel about 45'. Numerous short down-climbs are encountered in the middle section of the canyon: As well as a 15' down-climb/stem: R3-100', anchored off a large bush canyon left.
