Información
Beautiful waterfalls that descend from between Middle Peak and Cuyamaca Peak in Rancho Cuyamaca to Boulder Creek.
Cómo llegar
From the east-topo shows parking area in Rancho Cuyamaca for hike along dirt road and ascent along dirt path. At around 5400' elevation, leave the dirt path and route find down to the first waterfall. This avoids private in-holding by staying on the right side of barb wire fence which has fallen along the way.
Descenso
From the top, the route along the stream is dense with ceanothus, manzanita and large fallen trees that were destroyed in a fire. It may be very difficult to complete (see remarks below). From the west, the route crosses private property and is very difficult to follow. It is also choked with ceanothus, manzanita and acres of poison oak. Climbing the falls from the bottom is also difficult, but rewarding.
