Tabaguache Canyon

Tabeguache (pronounced TAB-a-watch) Canyon is a non-technical canyon hike, which runs parallel to the Tabeguache OHV Trail. While not a technical destination in itself, Tabeguache can be a nice option to approach or return (preferred) from Rough Canyon Falls and the Birthday Canyons. The couple downclimbs can be bypassed or upclimbed.

Park at the Bangs Canyon Trailhead. Hike the Tabeguache OHV Trail downhill. One mile down the trail, it splits into Easy and Hard paths. Take either path, but depart the OHV trail up a wash to the north over a short hill of where these separate paths reunite.

Tabeguache Canyon is easy to navigate.
