Thimble Canyon

The reef in the Northern Swell forms short, east-facing, wide canyons with potholes. Individually these canyons aren't headliners, but together they can make a fun desination and several can be descended in a day. Thimble is short and has one little seemingly keeper pothole.

On Foot: Walk through the old structures and walk upstream in the drainage. Take the fork that is Left Up Canyon and climb the sandstone domes north of the southern drainage on the north side. Hike to the top rappel and descend.

These three rappels have not been descended as of 14May2022, but look like a fun practice area with a keeper pothole that held water in May.

Retrace the approach back to the car.
