A limestone canyon with lots of 20-foot rappels, one 145-foot rappel, and several downclimbs.
Cómo llegar
Steel Pass Road is extremely rough. 4x4 high clearance with skid plates are required. It is about 75 minute drive from the Warm Springs to trailhead.
Descenso
Down-climbs and partner assists R1 ~20 feet, anchored with a fiddle stick from a small bush far back from the edge R2 ~145 feet, anchored from a pink conglomerate rock. Multistage, and could easily set an intermediate anchor. Massive boulder at the bottom. Downclimb about 20 feet on the left of the boulder. Immediately afterwards is a 20-foot drop that can be downclimbed on the left. R3 ~ 20 feet over a boulder, anchored from a pinch point. Several downclimbs and walking. R4 ~20 feet down a polished rock face, plus another 40 feet back to pinch point anchor. R5 ~20 feet down a polished rock face, anchored from a pinch point. R6 ~20 feet down a rough wall, anchored from a very minimal horn on RDC. R7 ~20 feet, anchored from a massive horn (really more like a ridge), far back from edge. R8 ~20 feet, anchored from webbing on a rock RDC. Immediately after R7. Can see the wash we were hiking up in the approach.
