Upper North Fork Hall Canyon

This trip was done in conjunction with a trip to ski down the West side of Telescope Peak (11,043′) summit and complete a first known ski descent there on that West side of the mountain. Then, as the canyons first dry-fall came up, then switch over to first descent canyoneering mode and complete the unknown technical canyon that started when the skiing terrain stopped. The entire trip would have a total of 10,000 vertical feet descent down to the Panamint Valley floor at the 1000' elevation level. And additionally for this trip, we completed the upper fork of Hall Canyon, and moved over a few ridges and dropped into a 2nd new canyon to descend down, This 2nd canyon has been named GOLLUM CANYON and is listed on it's own Ropewiki Page by that name.
