Veadeiros Gorge

Several nice rappels, a small waterslide, a small jump and couple of small downclimbs. Very pleasant low stakes canyon route suitable for all abilities with competent leaders. Coming after rainfall will have more flow. One of the lightest flow canyons in the area. This is the closest canyon to the town of Sao Joao d'Allanca, which has a supermarket, pubs, and restaurants.

There are many dirt road intersections along the way from the start to the shuttle parking.

Once you descend to the 3,380 foot level you will pass by private property. It is customary and may be required to pay a fee to the landowner. They have cold drinks for purchase, restrooms and a shaded pavilion.
