Wallace Canyon

Mount Charleston is located Northwest of Las Vegas. The route described here is featured in the guide book "Las Vegas Slots" by Rick Ianniello. The area is gorgeous at has a true feel of the wilderness. The approach road is quite straightforward but could be a challenge in snowy or wet conditions. Although the Wallace Canyon is not a super technical canyon, we up the game by descending it in full winter conditions with icy waterfalls. You will need 185ft of rope for the final rappel

Approach is pretty simple. You hike in the canyon floor, then scramble to your left to get to the saddle point. From there drop to the start of the canyon

There are only 2 rappels, where the last on is 185ft on the incline. The rest is downclimbale
